European Forum with Franz Schuh on the Occasion of the Tolerance Talks 2025 Never before in recent decades has the global geopolitical situation changed so dramatically, disruptively, and overnight as in the past few months since the re-election of the new and old US President. Security guarantees thrown out the window, trade customs suspended, deals instead of diplomacy – how should Europe respond to this, how should Europe defend its economy and industry? And above all, what do these upheavals mean for the citizens of this continent, what impact does the new global disorder have on the countries of the South? The European Tolerance Talks, taking place from June 1 to 7, 2025, in Carinthia, will address the madness of our present and attempt to develop strategies and solutions for dealing with the unpredictable. A foretaste of what’s to come will be provided by the European Forum on March 25 at the Vienna Oberbank on Schwarzenbergplatz, organized by Denk.Raum.Fresach together with Club Carinthia. Also present will be author and essayist Franz Schuh, who will discuss “The World in Turmoil – Joyful in the Madness” with Claus Reitan and offer possible answers.
