“Freedom as an innovation driver for the economy” is the topic of the European Tolerance Talks on 2 June. On the podium of the Entrepreneurship Day there are among others Economic Chamber Vice President Sylvia Gstättner, Infineon CEO Sabine Herlitschka, demographer Elisabeth Gruber and the beauty entrepreneur Katja Wagner, who became known as “Waxing Lady”. Tickets are still available. The discussion is opened with a discussion about the values of the free world with the emeritus psychoanalyst at the Alps-Adriatic University of Klagenfurt, Prof. Klaus Ottomeyer, and a panel discussion on the free markets and “An economy for all: utopia or long ago realized?” Following this, the well-known authors Jürgen Roth and Peter Heintel give an insight into the “networks of power” or the topic “Fear as a price of freedom”. In the afternoon, there will be forums on “free trade” (globalization and regionalization) and “free entrepreneurship” (capitalism and bureaucracy). “How much freedom does the economy need?” And how can the ever-widening bureaucracy be curbed? Top experts from the EU Commission and IV are expected to come, Johann Sollgruber and Igor Sekardi, tourism researcher Peter Zellmann, as well as entrepreneurs from Carinthia such as Christiane Holzinger, Sabrina Schütz-Oberländer and Ingun Kluppenegger. Workshops for women Those who prefer to engage in one of the workshops have the choice between intensive courses on “The Power of Language and Speaking” (with Prof. Elisabeth Schrattenholzer), “Women in the church, women in Islam: what we can learn from each other” (with author Hassan Baroud and evang, theologian Maria Moser) and a game training: How to treat diversity positively (Bea Ainetter). Jazz concert in the evening The Entrepreneur’s Day will end with musical memories in the evening. The well-known jazz duo Christoph Pepeauer and Manu Delago offer “Songs, I like” – a careful selection of self-compositions and arrangements, musical youth recollections, which accompanied the composer and musician for some time.
