In the town hall of the city of Villach, Denk.Raum.Fresach presented on Thursday the program of the 10th European Tolerance Talks from May 15 to 18, 2024. Three dozen philosophers, scientists, authors and economists will discuss “Truth and what is real?“ The topic is particularly relevant in view of the upcoming European elections in June and the various attempts by anti-democratic forces to influence them. The program is extremely broad and once again surprises with some well-known speakers and participants. The well-known Czech author Radka Denemarková from Prague was able to be won over, as was the controversial Falter editor Armin Thurnher from Vienna and the psychologist and risk researcher Gerd Gigerenzer from Berlin, who is counted among the 100 influential thinkers by the Duttweiler Institute. Tickets can already be ordered now, admission prices remain unchanged. (ws) More on pressetext.
