At the invitation of Club Carinthia the Fresach.Think.Tank presented its program for the European tolerance talks 2016 on 3rd November in Vienna. On the podium were Fresach President Johannes Swoboda, the bishop of the Evangelical Church of Austria, Michael Bunker, the environmental historian Verena Winiwarter and PEN president Helmuth A. Niederle. For the Carinthian touch the Fresach initiators Peter Nageler and Wilfried Seywald and Club Carinthia directors Alexander Loisel and Richard Fröhlich wer present. The panel discussion was a first look at the subject in 2016: “The borders of Europe – human rights and the consequences of climate change”. “We do not just watch and know better, but show using many positive examples and people with responsibility, as it can go better. But we must also remember international politics of where the roots of the new migration of nations are”, the president of the board, Johannes Swoboda said in a press conference before. As 2015, the European tolerance talks in 2016 are supported by numerous sponsors, organizations and institutions, led by the PEN Club Austria. PEN president Helmuth A. Niederle again presented a number of top international writers who will come to Fresach. “For us, Fresach is a possibility of inventory.
