Climate change, pandemic, high inflation and the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine are forcing global travel to undergo a course correction, the effects of which are not yet foreseeable. In order for travelers to continue to be able to live out their longings in the future, however, radical rethinking is required. “Continuing as before would be ignorant, fatal and irresponsible,” explained the specialist for literary and philosophical travel, Peter Vollbrecht, at the Tourism Forum of the European Tolerance Talks in Villach.
